What is a good hobby for me, a 12-year-old boy?

I play video games much, but I do with other things I like airsoft and paintball, but I need something that I can by myself or with my father I was thinking about getting an ATV and repair, but its too much money and too much stuff RC and trains are kinda stupid, I do not know how scouts and airsoft do no one else here has a gun along with their (damn old people) is not karate or any other sport I'm at it a sport does not need more as the obligations and not amateur radio operator (sounds boring) So nothing forbidden?

Skateboarding has been good for my Son your age, he also enjoyed leaning the basics of computer programming, BMX (ok that was several years ago) and RC Racing. We found we could quite reasonably RC Cars make by buying used equipment at first and fixing it. Making / detailing interesting parts was a lot of fun for me – it was a family affair – We all won. We found a way within a reasonable drive and raced one night per week – and exercised on the others. Unless something quieter – you ask your people, take one of the great Hobby Stores – Michaels, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann etc. – tell them you will need some time – an hour or so. Now go out and walk – up and down go all the gears and look at the supplies for different hobbies. Wood processing, leather processing, paper crafts (cards, albums, etc.) make jewelry, art – drawing, Painting – fiber arts – knitting, crocheting, long stitch, etc. There are dozens of different crafts in the shops. If you see something that looks kind of neat to get Beginners kit and try it out! It could be the beginning of fun that you never knew you wanted to do that!

Will my roof antenna may be necessary (or work) after switching to HDTV?

I'm doing some home remodeling and have this huge roof antenna my attic TV reception. I would like to ask you again, as we currently cable service, but do not want to get it to feed, when it will be useful even after the changeover to HD in 2009 … anyone research this?

(This answer assumes that you are in the U.S.) If you are an attic antenna to the current analog to receive shipments must, then you can expect to need an attic antenna to receive digital broadcasts.
